The Properties

There are two tastefully restored properties to rent situated on the outskirts of the historic town of Eymet in the heart of the Dordogne:

The farmhouse is set in a very sheltered sunny position and is surrounded by lawns, shrubs and trees. There is ample car parking space.

The accommodation consists of:

  • Four Bedrooms - two double (one downstairs) and two single rooms.

  • Bathroom - shower, hand basin and WC.

  • Sitting Room - including comfortable suite,TV & Radio C/D player.

  • Kitchen/Diner - 4 ring gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher

  • Separate Wash Room

  • Shower, WC, Washing machine

The house has log burning stoves and central heating.

Prices: £645 per week. Inclusive of all charges. This property is available in July and August only.

Barn ExteriorBarn Conversion (Le Grenier à Foin)

The cottage is a tastefully restored barn in the traditional style. The workmanship is of a very high standard.

The accommodation consists of:

  • Two Double Bedrooms

  • Loft Room - this has a single bed.

  • Large Living Room with Corner Kitchen - the kitchen is equipped with a four ring gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher , washing machine, TV and C D player/radio.

  • Bathroom - this has a tiled shower, hand basin and WC.

The barn has a log burner and storage heaters.

Prices: £285 to £525 per week. Inclusive of all charges. This property is wheelchair accessible and available throughout the year.

Extra Information

The properties are situated within easy walking distance of the town.

Bed linen is provided and a travel cot and a high chair are usually available. There are also deck chairs, garden furniture and each property has a barbecue.

The cottage and the house share the swimming pool which is 8m x 4m, plus a stepped “Roman end”. The pool is open from May onwards.
